Spring’s coming up, and it’s time to get in shape! It’s time to sculpt your beach body. It’s been really nice outside, so it’s time to get motivated and get off the couch. Go for a run, just remember to pace yourself. You don’t have to sprint, but you can at least jog to get your body in shape. Then you can start lifting to sculpt, but for now just start with a good jog. Slowly pace yourself and push yourself to go further each time.

How to Keep New Years' Resolutions
By: Cody Baird
Every year, thousands of people make New Year’s resolutions to get in shape, but most don’t follow through with their plans. Here is a quick way to make sure this won’t happen to you:
· Dumbbell Clean: Place the dumbbells on the floor in front of you and bend down to grab them while keeping your back flat and your chest up. Swiftly extend your hips and bring the weights up to shoulder level. Press them overhead. Do 6–8 reps.
· Dumbbell Squat: Hold a dumbbell in each hand and stand. Squat as low as possible while keeping your back straight. Perform 12–15 reps.
· Dumbbell Row: Bend forward at the hips and then pull up both weights to your sides. Keep your eyes focused on the floor in front of you. Perform 4–6 reps.
· Push Up: Place a set of dumbbells parallel to each other on the floor at shoulder width. Get into pushup position holding the weights. Perform pushups with your hands in a neutral grip. Do as many reps as you can.

Back Squats
By: Cody Baird
Back squats are by far the best leg exercise out there because they build your legs faster than anything else. When it comes to back squats, I do 3 sets of 10. You have to figure out how much weight you can squat. If you don’t have a power rack, never squat alone.
